At our state-of-the-art dental office, we use a CEREC machine which allows us to create dental restorations on the spot that transform your smile as needed. Imagine the possibility of having new crowns and veneers made and inserted in just a few hours during the same day!

Before and after a Same Day Smile Makeovers procedure at Leichhardt Dental Centre
Here’s what you can expect during a same-day smile makeover treatment with veneers or crowns at our practice:
Step 1
Our team works with you during the initial consultation to develop a customised comprehensive treatment plan to give you the smile you have always dreamt of. We discuss what you would like to improve/change and the possible outcomes.
Step 2
On the day of the treatment, we have you come in, lie back and relax in our dental chair to enjoy some Netflix if you may, while we use various tools like photographs and/or mock-ups to stimulate what we are aiming for in your smile.
Step 3
Once the final strategy is agreed upon, we start the procedure of shaping the teeth to receive the final restorations. This is followed by a 3D digital scan of the teeth using CEREC and customising the final design of the teeth using imaging software. Since this design is carried out chairside, you can remain engaged in the process. But if you prefer, you can continue to watch TV or even pop out to the shops until the new restorations are finalised in our in-house milling and glazing unit, in approximately 2-3 hours.
Step 4
The beautiful, natural-looking final restorations are examined, tested and then bonded in place with a strong adhesive. These sturdy restorations function like natural teeth and are expected to last decades.

Dental Bonding
This is a great way to eliminate minor tooth imperfections. Using durable tooth-coloured resins, cosmetic dental bonding can repair decayed teeth, correct chips or small cracks and Minimise tooth discolouration.
Gum Contouring
Gum contouring is a single-sitting procedure to correct a gummy smile using lasers to reshape and remove excessive gum tissue. This procedure effectively shortens the height of the gums while revealing more of the tooth to improve the appearance of your smile.
