Invisalign Clear Aligners.

Invisalign uses a series of custom clear aligners to gradually move your teeth into a better position — without metal brackets or wires. We begin with a 3D digital scan and Invisalign's planning software to map your tooth movements before treatment starts, so you can see the projected result and estimated timeline at your first planning consultation. You wear each set of trays for about one to two weeks, around 22 hours a day, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. Dr. Jimmy reviews your progress every 6–8 weeks at his monthly visits and hands over your next sets. Most adult cases take 6–18 months depending on complexity. For many adults, aligners do more than straighten teeth — gently widening a narrow upper arch can create "tongue space" that supports clearer nighttime breathing. Treatment is fully bundled: all 3D scans and planning, your complete aligner series, progress checkups, any end-of-treatment refinement aligners, and a set of retainers to hold your result.

Risks & considerations

Clear-aligner treatment requires consistent daily wear to be effective. Risks include mild discomfort with each new tray, transient lisping in the first week, gum irritation if a tray edge is rough, and treatment delays if trays aren't worn as prescribed. Some complex bite issues may not be suitable for clear aligners and may require referral to a specialist orthodontist.

All dental procedures carry potential risks and benefits. Individual results vary. A consultation with a registered dental practitioner is required to determine whether a treatment is suitable for you.
